I would like to share with you a morning ritual that I have been doing for the past few years. It has the power to boost energy in a sustained way (unlike coffee), improve digestion, increase weight loss, lower cholesterol, boost the immune system and help balance the brain and nervous systems. All of this and it tastes wonderful too.
1Tbs. Ancient Maiden Puerh Tea *
1-2 tsp Ginger Turmeric Tea* or slice of each (fresh)
1Tbs. Coconut Oil
1Tsp. Ghee (optional)
1 tea strainer * (with handle, not enclosed egg type)
1 large cup
1-1/2 cups of water @90ᵒ (just shy of boiling)
Put the Puerh and Ginger Turmeric tea in a strainer and pour the hot water over and above the tea. Let steep 1-2 minutes or longer depending on personal taste. Remove tea/strainer and put in the coconut oil. Stir and let melt.
If you don’t care for the oil that drifts to the top, it can be blended in with a hand held frother. If you want the added benefit of the ghee, add it at the same time as the coconut oil.
Sip and enjoy!!

Aged Puerh Tea is magical. It is the only tea that is fermented so it has all the benefits of fermented food including aiding digestion through its’ probiotic properties. It also facilitates weight loss and can lower cholesterol. The taste is described as ‘rich’ and ‘earthy’.
Ginger Turmeric tea is a very effective anti-inflammatory and is quite tasty.
Coconut oil is a ‘super food’. Like Puerh, it helps with weight loss and weight balance, is antiviral and boosts the immune system. It has also shown to lower cholesterol and increase energy.
Ghee is a medium chain fatty acid much like coconut oil and with similar benefits. Ghee, however, is rich in Vitamin A,D,E,K2 and CLA. It also has anti-inflammatory qualities and is beneficial for bowel problems such as colitis and inflammatory bowel disease.
